We need help!  Right now we have about 8 really committed men and women trying to make this happen.  We need about 20 in total, and are looking for people to really take initiative in the following areas:  Planning Events, Writing (newsletters & Website), Marketing and in general enthusiastic people looking to improve Albany’s network of alumni.  Email contact@albanynyc.com if you are even remotely interested in attending chapter meetings and offering support.  It’s a fun and interesting group of people.  The current board has people in the following professions:  legal, fundraising, marketing, finance  & accounting.  Whether it’s 1 hr. a month or 5, your time will be greatly appreciated.  And all of us expect to rotate off the board in 2 years – in order for new leadership to step in and enjoy the work (and spotlight).  Board members get invited to private Albany functions and are really brought into the loop.  It’s a fun opportunity to help improve alma mater.
