Upcoming Events:

UAlbany plays in its first NCAA Division 1 Tournament game vs. UConn this Friday at 7:25 pm. The game will be featured on CBS in the Northeast region. Based on the great turnout for last week's game, we expect more than 300 alumni for Friday's party. Please join us on the Upper West Side at The West End bar, located at 2909 Broadway. All the details are below. The first 200 alumni in the door will get a free Albany t-shirt. We'll also have a complimentary buffet dinner at 6:30 pm (wings, pasta etc.) and $2 domestic beers and $3 Guinness. Friday is St. Patrick's Day so wear your green, but do mix in some Purple and Gold!!!

Take the 1/9 subway to 110th street (note if taking the 2/3 express switch to 1/9 at 96th street).
6:30 pm - free buffet dinner and drink specials begin; 7:25 Game


***** Please note that the subway is convenient to and from the West End and there will also be plenty of cabs after the game. We called around and bars in Midtown and the Upper East Side are simply not be able to accommodate such a large Albany contingent on St. Patrick's day.. you all know how crowded the bars are each year. Columbia University is on Spring Break this week so the West End is happy to welcome us.
